		<description>I&#039;ll throw my two cents in too.  I agree that much of what so many patent attorneys do is a waste of time.  I&#039;ve read a laser patent where only the &lt;em&gt;box&lt;/em&gt; around the laser was protected by the patent!  The senior partner of a big firm charged $650/hr for that one.  However, there are some important cases where a patent serves well.  Not most of the cases, but nevertheless &lt;em&gt;some&lt;/em&gt;.  In these special cases, getting a patent is a great idea.  Knowing when to do it, and when not is the tricky part.</description>

I&#039;ve had a number of these same poor inventors (I won&#039;t say scammed by a patent attorney, but these inventors certainly had vanity patents!) try to get me to broker their patents on commission. All I can say is sorry. If there&#039;s no market, don&#039;t bother with a patent. Hopefully a lot of inventors will see this site, Mr. Docie.</description>
